BYOB!!! No, I am not asking you to bring your own alcohol or anything of that sort. I am encouraging you to Bring Your Own Bag!

In efforts to going green, I try to find cute and affordable products that will help me save the planet, and I hope that you will too.

I’m not going to write a huge spiel about how we are going through global warming and that the ice caps are melting and that eventually, most major cities will be underwater. No, instead I will periodically introduce products that will help develop an awareness of this issue.

So, I found this really awesome line called BYOB-Bring Your Own Bag. These bags are super cute, and you can take them with you shopping so you don’t have to waste paper or plastic bags. These are perfect for the grocery store. They have really cute designs, and they are not that expensive! They are made out of either organic cotton or 100% cotton which is great for the earth!

Bold Sandals

Girls, make your pedicure appointment soon because once you see these sandals, you will want to show your toes off. I absolutely love sandals in the spring and summer. They can be casual or dressy. Wear them to a picnic or to a formal.

They go great with a sundress, a maxi dress, jeans, skirts, shorts…everything!

I absolutely can not wait to strap these on!

I love these Sam Edelman sandals. I also love the yellow (a great color for the upcoming seasons). They are for a reasonable price of $78 at

For a dressier look, try these pewter Enzo Angiolini sandals. They are snake-embosed for a really chic look. They also come in black and bronze. These are $60 at

For the ultimate stylista, these are the perfect sandals. They are made by Burberry and they have logo-embossed charms on the middle strap. They are sold at for a hefty price of $550.

Watch Out!

Yesterday, my friend, Ilana, was saying that she wanted a ToyWatch. Now, I’ve heard of these watches before, but I did not really get a good look at them…until now that is!

They are everywhere. Last night, I was reading my People Style Watch magazine and what do you know, a ToyWatch is in there as an item you have got to have! Even celebrities such as Sophia Bush, Michael Jordan, and Taye Diggs have them

I absolutely love the looks of these watches. They are unisex, so if you are looking for a gift for a guy, the perfect gift! They are great as an everyday, casual watch. You will want to wear it everyday. Their price ranges from $175 to around $500, but it is totally worth it. Check them out at

Haute Jewelry

Big, bold jewelry is everywhere you look. You see them everywhere from the runway, magazines, the shops, and the red carpet.

Statement jewelry is the perfect way to accessorize a simple outfit.

I found a great jewelry designer who makes fabulous pieces.  Alison Woodward has her own jewelry line called “Reverie.” She creates magnificent jewelry out of vintage findings.

I love her creations. Some of her pieces are at select Anthropologie Stores. Below are some pieces she has created. To check for the availability of  her jewelry, check out her website at

Oscar Fashions

Wow! What a night last night was.

The 81st Oscar Awards were on last night. The red carpet was definitely a sight to see. There were so many stunning stars there last night, it is so hard to keep track of them all.

To make it easier for everyone, below are my Top 5 red carpet looks of the evening.

I have a tie for 4 and 5.

Marisa Tomei is wearing Atelier Versace. I love all of the gorgeous pleats. The only criticism I have is that the bodice is somewhat poorly constructed. It looked like it needed to be steamed. Meanwhile, Sarah Jessica Parker wears Christian Dior Haute Couture. This gown is stunning.

The woman of the night, Kate Winslet wore this stunning YSL gown. I love this steel, grey color with black lace. Like I said in my recent post, the one shoulder dress is  popular on the red carpet. As for Kate Winslet, this woman can do no wrong when it comes to fashion.

Oh my goodness. One of my favorite looks of the night. Taraji Henson looks amazing in this white Roberto Cavalli masterpiece. The dress is stunning, but I am going ga-ga over her stunning necklace. The necklace is made by Fred Leighton along with her other jewels of the night. This necklace is the perfect statement piece for this look. I love it!

Drum roll please…..

1. oscar5Ann Hathaway just looks regal in this Armani Privé gown. I absolutely love it. It fits her like a glove, and she just looks like a goddess in it. The scaling detail on the dress is magnificent, and it just makes her glide across the red carpet. This is definitely my favorite dress of the evening. Absolutely stunning!

Overview: White was definitely the color of the night (4 out of 5 of my top looks just happen to be a variation of white!). I love that these actresses chose white because it resembles “Old Hollywood,” and the color looks amazing on every skin tone. Also, statement necklaces were also extremely popular on the red carpet. Actresses such as Amy Adams, Taraji Henson, and Amanda Seyfried  all wore stunning necklaces by Fred Leighton.

I want to hear from you! Comment on this post of what were your favorites of the night? Do you agree with my top 5?
